Navigating Los Angeles

Downtown LA
If you want to explore Downtown LA, use these quick tips to beat the traffic and arrive on time:

- Rush hour congests the highways in the morning from 7a.m. until 10a.m.; and, then in the evening from 4p.m. until 7p.m.
- Take surface streets to escape the worst of the traffic, which is always on the freeways.
- Friday night traffic is typically awful due to people both coming home from work and leaving the city.

Parking

-White or yellow curb: no parking, passenger loading and unloading only (typically at the airport)
-Green curb: limited time only parking
-Red curb: no parking
