Tournament FAQ's

Can I wear fancy dress YES!
Fancy dress is encouraged at the LA Sevens! When picking your fancy dress be sure to meet venue regulations by avoiding accessories such as toy weapons, swords, spears, as well as costumes may be deemed to be offensive from political, racial, and/or sexual perspectives. Click here for inspiration!

When do gates open / close?
Gate times are 45 minutes before the first kick off of each day.

Saturday:

9:15 am – NW and SW gates will be in use

Sunday:

9:15 am SW gate only (10:00 am kickoff on Pitch 2 (track field)

10:15 am NW and SW gate will be open (11:05 am kickoff on Pitch 1 (stadium)

Will tailgating be allowed?
Tailgating is allowed at the HSBC SVNS World Championships in Lot 11 and Lot 12.

Is there an In/Out policy?
There is an In/Out Policy which is available until 2pm on Satuday and 12pm on Sunday.

Can I use cash in the stadium?
DHSP is a cashless stadium. DHSP has installed reverse ATMs to facilitate onsite cashless transactions.

Can I bring food/drink into the event?
Food and beverage cannot be brought into Dignity Health Sports Park. There is an exception for plastic waterbottles which can be brought in and refilled at stations throughout the stadium.

What is the bag policy at the stadium?
* Bags that are clear plastic or clear vinyl and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
* One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (ziplock bag or similar)
* Small clutch bags that do not exceed 4.5” X 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags
*Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose. Medical and parental bags smaller than 12" x 6" x 12" are required to go through a secondary security screening.
Prohibited items into Dignity Health Sports Park include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Do you have wheelchair accessible seating & can my family sit with me?
We provide easy access for guests with disabilities. These areas include gates, restrooms, suites, ticket windows, drinking fountains, concession counters and seating areas. Dignity Health Sports Park is an ADA compliant venue and accessible seating can be found at the following link. Click Here for Information

Food/drink options at event?
The LA Sevens Festival includes food options from around the world. Food and drink are also available from vendors around the stadium concorse.

Are there baby changing facilities?
To access the Nursing Room, please visit our southeast Guest Services location (next to Kinecta Plaza). The Nursing Room offers a changing table, sanitary supplies, electrical outlets, and a shared refrigerator. Both electric and manual pumps are allowed inside the stadium. Exceptions to the clear bag policy will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the entry gate.

Can I use my camera in the stadium?

Unless otherwise specified by the teams and/or event officials/management, guests may not bring professional photographic equipment in to the facility.

Guests are also prohibited from engaging in commercial photography of any kind.

The following is a partial list of the prohibited camera equipment:

Flash photography
Monopods or tripods
Cameras with lenses greater than 3½ inches in length
Videography of match action is strictly prohibited.

Is there a smoking area?
Dignity Health Sports Park is a smoke-free facility. Cigarettes, pipes, cigars, e-cigarettes and vapor devices are strictly prohibited.

Can I bring flags into the stadium
Flags may be brought into the stadium, although flags with poles will not be permitted in accordiance with Dignity Healh Sports Park policies.

What is the best airport to fly into for the event?
Dignity Health Sports Park is conveniantly located with nearby airports a short drive away. (Los Angeles International LAX (30 min) Long Beach Airport LGB (15 min) and John Wayne SNA (35 min)

Where should fans book their hotels?

Rideshare Drop Off
Riders may be dropped off and picked up at Gate A, located on Avalon Blvd. and 184th Street.

How can I access tickets?
Tickets are distributed via the AXS app.

Are tickets transferable?
Tickets are transferrable via the AXS app.

Can I buy tickets on the day?
Tickets can be purchased at the box office on event day.

Is there a wheelchair accessible section & can my family sit with me?
Dignity Health Sports Park is an ADA compliant venue and accessible seating can be found by clicking here. 

At what age is it required to have a ticket?
Tickets are required for all over two years old. Those under two cannot occupy a seat.

What access will I have with a General Admission ticket?
General Admission includes access to the GA Admission seating area, including Pitch 1 and Pitch 2, and access to the all-day LA Sevens International Fan Fest.

What access will I have with the Lower Reserved ticket?
Designated midfield seat in premium Lower Reserved Seating Area on the East side of the stadium, as well as general admission to Pitch 2 and the LA Sevens Fan Fest. Limited Availability.

What is included in the 100 Club package?
The Upgraded LA 7's experience
Reserved seat in "100 Club" Seating Area on the West side of the stadium.
Premium midfield location
Access to bar in "100 Club" area
Included Lunch per day
2 drinks included per day
Commemorative LA Sevens gift

What is included in the Family Package?
Single Day Family Pack - for 2 adults 2 children under 14

Are there discounts for group sales?
Groups of 10+ may have a 10% discount, excluding categories with F&B

Are children allowed in the hospitality areas?
Children are allowed in hospitality. Those over 2 years old will require a ticket.

When does hospitality open/close
Hospitality opens and closes with the regular gate times.

What are the food options in hospitality?
Upgraded food service, including Continental Breakfast, Lunch Buffet and Afternoon Snacks. The 100 Club includes a buffet lunch.

What are the drink options in hospitality?
Drink options in the Captain's VIP Lounge include a private bar, with four drinks included per day.

Are there group hospitality options?

When should fans arrive in LA?
There are events through the week of the HSBC SVNS World Championship starting with the Team Welcome Event  on Wednesday April 30. Find our more in [EVENT WEEK]

Where should fans eat/meet up?
At the event the LA Sevens International FanFest is a perfect place to meet up eat, and soak in the festival atmosphere. If you're looking for somewhere to meet friends before heading in we recommend the David Beckham statue outside the box office.

What events are happening through the week?

Is the Adopt a Country program happening this year?
The Adopt A Country program is happening in 2025!

What is the LA Sevens Festival?
The World comes to Los Angeles both on the pitch and the LA Sevens Festival where rugby blends
with local and multicultural street food, art, live music, and DJs for the party of the summer! More Info

What are the food offerings for the festival?
The LA Sevens Festival offers multicultural food from around the world to compliment food options around the concourse.

What are the music acts in the festival?
The schedule for the LA Sevens International Fan Festival will be announced two weeks prior to the event.

Which divisions are offered in the LAI?
Divisions from Under 8 flag coed through High School, College, and Senior Men and Women are being offered. Are tickets for the HSBC SVNS World Championships included in LAI entry?
Tickets are offered to teams at a heavily discounted rate after they register for the LAI competition. Teams will be provided a specific link for their team only where members can go online to purchase 1 or 2 day tickets to the HSBC SVNS World Championship.
